After becoming a military spouse in 2014, leaving a federal career, and embracing motherhood a year later, my life as a Stay-At-Home-Mom to 3 amazing kids has been a nonstop adventure. In 2025, a short-lived return to the workforce challenged me to truly consider how I wanted to invest in myself and contribute in a new way to my family.

Amidst all the changes, baking has remained a constant. Paired with my Jamaican heritage, I have always appreciated finding ways to combine citrus, nutty, spicy, floral, cocoa and everything in between.

I'm grateful to make birthday cakes for my dear family and close friends, or for a girls' afternoon tea, or for my kids' PTA-hosted staff luncheons. I love helping people celebrate life's joys and beautiful moments, big and small; seeing their expressions when unexpected flavor combinations illicit delight, or when a cake design highlights the best parts of who they are.

This experience is what I'm eager to share with my community: to gather together and celebrate every little thing that adds beauty to this life.
